Established in 2001, Third Wave is a social enterprise with a fundamental interest in community engagement and cohesion. We understand our communities as a potential source of support across a range of needs, not least social,educational and recreational opportunities as well as care or support needs. Local knowledge and undrestanding the diversity of the community, the way different groups like to communicate are an integral part of positive community interaction and cohesion.

Third Wave comprises of a group of highly motivated and qualified professionals and dedicated volunteers, whom strive towards:

* participating in projects to improve physical, social and mental well-being of our communities. 

* developing and implementing community based projects.

* supporting and encouraging community-led and strong local governance.

* increasing long term sustainability of  local community life.
