Refugee Support - UK

Third Wave Refugee Support Projet is a voluntary and not-for-profit project for the promotion and protection of  refugee rights.

TWRS started in 2002, it endevours to assist refugees and asylum seekers in the locality of our members to be in a better place to access servies, provide them with additional practical support f,or re-adjustng to life in Britain and assist them to maintain their integrity .

The current economic downturn has had greater negative impact on refugee communities. Refugees often have not had the opportunity to build a social net-work necessary that can insulate them from tough economic times. That is why it is imperative that refugee communities receive adequate support in order to develop tools to succeed.

We fundamentally believe that a strong community can only exist when all its members are valued, treated with respect and integrity. It has become imperative that for the well-being of our ommunities, the plight of this marginalised group to be highlighted.
